Minted
What did you do?
While working for Minted in San Francisco, I developed and refined a lot of skills as a Designer. Specifically the ability to have an intense eye for detail and to be able to spot both major and minor issues very quickly. I was also able to both enhance and refine my relationship with the Adobe Suite, based on the foundation I had built at UC Davis.
The Process
As seen above, while I was a Designer for Minted I would receive cards from the clients. They would come to us with the updated information that had their specific venue, names, etc. but the design would be a mess. It was our job to take the information and make it fit as closely as possible to the original design. While the overall process was quite simple, the key was accuracy and speed. By doing this process over and over, I was able to find dozens of ways to refine my process until I could confidently produce 80 to 100 designs during any given workday.
